Terms

For DIY products, made-to-measure screens, component orders
and all VAT FREE OFFERS, payment is strictly by cheque with order.
Please also see payment notes below. Currently there is no minimum order value but we reserve the right to introduce a minimum charge if necessary.

Despatch
|
|
We aim to process all orders for DIY kits or components within 5 working days from receipt of order and cheque clearance. For made-to-measure screens, please allow 10 -14 working days from confirmation of order / payment clearance.
Peak season delays can occur ( May to Sept. ), we will advise you.

|
Measuring
|
|
Please note : made-to-measure items are manufactured to your exact order dimensions, we make no tolerances or allowances for the fastening method or size of fixing components. Please read and carefully follow the instructions for measuring and fitting of the appropriate model detailed on our website. Because most screens cannot be adjusted after manufacture, we regret no alterations or refunds can be made due to incorrect measurements given. If you are unsure about any aspect of measuring or the necessary calculations to establish finished sizes, please enquire by e-mail or telephone for advice.

Pricing & Dimensions
|
|
All dimensions on price lists, where displayed, are WIDTH mm in the lower horizontal boxes x HEIGHT mm in the left side verticals. Prices are shown in pounds sterling at the intersecting points on the matrix. Where a price list is not shown, please request by email.

VAT
|
|
Unless stated, e.g. as a special promotional discount, all prices are subject to the addition of VAT at the current standard rate.
|
|
|
Discounts
|
|
Orders of 10 or more items ( of same size or model ) can attract a discount.
|
|
|
Carriage
|
|
FREE carriage ( UK mainland only ) for all fly screen orders above £ amount shown on the home page, otherwise carriage or postage / packing are charged at the lowest cost available according to weight and destination. For all BULK orders e.g. large mesh rolls and other heavy weight items, carriage is payable ( including UK mainland ) according to weight. Where applicable carriage costs will be confirmed and agreed with you before your order is processed

Orders
|
|
All orders must be made in writing, by post, fax or email.
|
|
|
Delivery
|
|
Products will be delivered by local or national carrier. Please ensure someone will be available to inspect and sign for the goods on the day of delivery. If there is any sign of damage to the packaging, we advise you to thoroughly inspect the contents. Once the drivers delivery note is signed, no claims can be made unless clearly marked 'DAMAGED' and we are informed a.s.a.p. by telephone and confirmed in writing, preferably by e-mail, within 24 hours.
Domestic customers who may be unavailable during the day are advised to consider an alternative delivery address where attendance is certain.
We regret we are unable to give an exact time for delivery and cannot be held responsible for late delivery by our carriers.

Returns
|
|
Any goods returned, by agreement, e.g. DIY Kits of wrong size, must be in their original condition and are subject to carriage costs at the customers expense plus a 20 % handling charge, unless the error was ours.
Any mistakes by us will be corrected at no extra charge and return carriage cost, by approved means, will be refunded in full.

Payment Notes

Cheques should be made payable to :-
Exclusive Screens ( for all VAT free offers )
or
Pro Hygeia ( where VAT is to be added )
Commercial orders, with payment terms of 30 days, can be invoiced following approval of credit account facilities. First order payment however, would be required in advance, on receipt of a pro forma invoice.
Fully installed screens ( by quotation only ) are to be paid for on the day of installation or within a pre-arranged and agreed period for commercial customers
We reserve the right to request a deposit for some made-to-measure and installed screens, payable on the day of measuring or order, whichever applies.
We are sorry we cannot accept payment by credit card at present but this service may be available soon, please enquire.

Brochures
|
|
We do not produce 'all product' photo printed brochures or price lists but if you are unable to find the specific information you require about a particular product, please ask.

|
Mesh types
|
Unless otherwise stated in product specifications, all our flyscreens are fitted with industry standard 18 x 16 grade fibreglass mesh in a specified colour.
This mesh size is suitable for the exclusion of most common flying insects.
Other mesh types are available for special purposes, e.g. 20 x 20 or 30 x 30 grades are for the exclusion of much smaller insects than the common housefly such as mosquitoes, midges etc. A very tough polyester mesh is also available, suitable for use where pets may have access to screens or for heavy-duty commercial use. Polyester heavy-duty mesh also has sun-screening qualities, preventing up to 70% of solar heat gain when used on externally fitted screens. Samples by special request.
N.B. Not all models can accommodate polyester heavy-duty mesh.
